The public consultation for the proposed 2 classroom extension at Ninfield Primary School was held late last week.
The reception from parents, teachers, neighbors and members of the Parish was universally positive, with many comments praising the design and the need to move students out of the old mobile classrooms. Virtual reality glasses were used to for the first time to allow all staff, parents, governors and students to immerse themselves and interact with the proposed designs.
This scheme involves replacing the existing mobile classrooms with permanent accommodation that links to the school, and also creating a new multi-use games area for both school and community use.
