The City Council has granted planning permission for the conversion of a Brighton urban infill site from derelict commercial / light industrial use to residential use.
This includes the demolition of a collapsed workshop unit and garage, conversion and improvement of the existing buildings and the construction of new dwellings on the footprint of the two demolished buildings.
Four dwellings are to be created in all, two x 2 bedroom 'Lifetime' compliant family homes, with outside space and two x2 bedroom homes.
The proposed scheme of four dwellings will fit within the landscaped courtyard that the existing houses surround and provide much needed homes in the City.
